Facial Rejuvenation using Micro-Needle Platelet-rich Plasma (PRP)
Skin rejuvenation using your own cells

Looking for a natural alternative to traditional dermal fillers?
We now offer PRP—Micro-Needle Platelet Rich Plasma!

Platelet rich plasma (PRP) obtained from your blood contains platelets which work in the body to clog up cuts and tears. Platelets also have growth factors on the surface which stimulate collagen production when penetrate into the skin.

What is Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP)?
Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) has been used in many medical procedures over the years, and its safety is well established. Examples include wound healing, during joint surgery, etc.
PRP has been used for facial rejuvenation since 2006 in the UK, Europe, Japan, and Australia.

"Case studies show consistent results with skin texture and tone improving within three weeks. The process is usually repeated within 4-6 weeks, and then repeated once a year for maintenance. Your skin will positively glow! PRP is useful for areas where aging has caused sagging and thinning of the skin, puffiness, age spots and wrinkling, especially in areas where sun-exposure is worse"

Which facial and body areas can be treated?
• Crinkling skin around the eyes
• Cheeks and mid face
• Neck
• Jawline
• Chest and décollétage
• Back of hands and arms
• Other body areas
• Stimulate hair growth on scalp.

How many treatments are advised?
For the best result, we recommend up to three treatments, 4-6 weeks apart, with top ups at 6-12 months.

What results can I expect from PRP treatments?
Improvement of skin texture and tone are noticeable within three weeks. Full collagen regeneration takes three months.

Can any skin type or color have PRP treatment?
Yes, PRP treatments can be used on all skin types and colors.

Who should NOT have PRP treatment?
• Heavy smokers, drug and alcohol users
• Platelet Dysfunction Syndrome
• Critical Thrombocytopenia
• Hypofibrinogenaemia
• Haemodynamic Instability
• Sepsis
• Acute and Chronic Infections
• Chronic Liver Pathology
• Anti Coagulation Therapy

Utilizing a Micro-Needling to infuse PRP into the dermis would intensify the natural wound cascade because of the high concentration of the patients own growth factors. Results reveal this method to be an effective alternative of collagen enhancement therapy (CET).

How do I prepare for treatment?
Take Arnica and Ester-C one week prior to treatment. (These are available over-the-counter). Do not take Advil or blood-thinning pain meds a few days before treatment. Arrive to treatment with a clean, make-up free face. Bring sunglasses and a hat or scarf with you to protect your freshly treated skin from the elements. Also, keep in mind you'll leave the plasma on your face overnight, as it is 'feeding' your skin!

What is Micro-Needling
A new FDA approved skin care device that increases absorption of active ingredients by 400%. The Micro needle stimulation improves skin elasticity and texture by promoting collagen formation, and regenerates skin without damaging epidermis. This powerful collagen boosting facial is a must for mature, dull or tired skin. Micro needle is ideal for non-surgical and non-ablative treatment of various skin conditions such as aging (wrinkles, stretching), scarring (acne, surgical) and hyperpigmentation.

Micro-Needle leaves the entire epidermal barrier fully intact; micro-channels created by 300 precision surgical steel needles are long enough for new collagen structures to form within the lower layers of the skin and short enough to allow the patient to resume normal schedules quickly. Result of this powerful treatment is more youthful, radiant and hydrated skin.
